Great for indoor use by Steve
I have bought nealry all of the helecopters currently for sale on aria, and this one is by far one of the best for indoor use. You do however, need a fair bit of room.
The controls are easy to us, and enable forward and backwards flight as well as the turn left and right you normally get.
Its fairly robust, although mine is currently held together with superglue after a few early crashes outdoors (i tried it ourdoors but it is too light and is blown around by even the lightest wind)
Indoors is realy where this is most fun, you can have loads of fun (and probably annoy the wife) with flights from table to table, fly it up or down the stairs (the helecopter is very well balanced and will hover without much movement so flight in narrow spaces is soon mastered)
it takes about 45 mins to charge and gives 10 mins flight time
Overall 8/10 but without spares it will only have a life span of about 1 month :-)
Great fun, relatively easy to use! by WillFull1986
Ordered this last thing on Friday as I'd managed to break my PicooZ that day and wanted a bigger replacement I could actually fly outdoors, along with one that had 3-channel controls. Arrived early this morning, had it out once; 1 hour charge = approx 20 mins flight time
Having never flown an RC plane/chopper before, it's tricky, but not horrendously so. Was definitely possible to get some controlled flights going after about 5 minutes practice...with a little more it'll be amazing.
It IS radio-controlled, not IR, with a decent range; not tested the full height yet, but climbs, turns and maneuvers well; ascends/descends, spins left/right and moves forwards/backwards
Outdoors, it's easily affected by light breezes, but not so much as to make it unflyable. Seems pretty robust construction, nicely engineered bit of kit; might buy another one to take apart ;)
Pretty much perfect for the price; comes fully assembled, nothing too tricky about it. A toy that definitely warrants some attention
