ive been gaming for a long time now, this is a good mouse however not if you have large hands, you will have a problem getting a comfortable grip in the grooves that will affect your play, also it has a very sensitive scroll so beware if you scroll for weapon change. The best mat to go with this or any other gaming mouse is icemat imo. anyway my hands are getting too big for this mouse so its mx518 for me!

thanks for the info!!

re: Alex - It makes very little difference, but I would recommend the PS/2. The reasoning behind this is that USB is a serial bus with limited bandwidth, so your mouse is essentially sharing with everything else on that particular USB controller. PS/2, on the other hand, is dedicated and doesn't require additional work by USB drivers.

I reccomend this mouse to any gamer or somone who wants to get around the web fast. Some people say that their mouse jumps to corners of their screen - perhaps the mat? i have an icemat with it and it realy is a gamers dream. The only problem is the middle mouse wheel is extra sensitive. Btw - im not some idiot - ive just never known or found out the answer to this - is it better to use the USB or PS2 port?

This may be the best mouse I have ever USED, let alone owned. My only contender could be my brothers intellimouse explorer (http://www.aria.co.uk/ProductInfoComm.asp?ID=2279) but even then its too heavy, i love the light and manoverable feel of this mouse. ive been using it over 2 years and its great!

Comment by JAMEZ!

Response by Rob
I have the MX510 - if they ever come back into stock, don't hang about. grab one straight away ;)
