it can go fowards by mike powell

after buying five of arias helis this is one of my favorites , easy to master very stable but with little control over forward direction BUT with a small modification it can fly forwards/backwards & quite fast.First loosen (v-carefully) & turn the tail boom So the tail rotor is horizontal (just like the 3ch white helicoptor aria does) then slide the support arm UP?down the tail boom (vareing the pitch of the tail boom increases the speed of foward momentum. the only problem then is your left & right becomes forward/backwards master this & it then becomes a compleatly different helicopter hours of fun with full control hope you found this helpfull

Aye, you have to be a pro to fly these.

do you do spares. by peterg

Hi,

the helicopter is great, easy to fly but dosent like trees! do you know where i can get spare blades?

Answer by Steve on Monday, July 30, 2007
We may get some in the near future

having flown. twice by new rc midi helicopter

This little baby isnt so little.. after arriving on time as usual next day delivery , i had this out of the box and flying within 20 minutes.

but before i get carried away , i have had practically no experience on actually getting any of my helicopters to fly properly in the past ..until now that is ..

The aria description isnt quite acurate in saying that it can fly in any direction , its a 2 channel affair like the micro copters that are so popular..it goes up and down and turns left and right. it will go forward of its own accord , but not by any significant amount..which is good to begin with till you get used to it.

mine came as a bright yellow helicopter . very visible and easy to see..but you may get the white or even another colour so i understand..

ok , out of the box , the battery had enough power in it to fly for about 6 minutes , but only to about 4 feet of the ground , this was in a wind sheilded garden of 40 square feet approx.
After messing around with the fear factor and it not lifting off , i gave it full throttle and away it lifted , immediatly throttling down to gain control.

second day , yesterday..headed to local park and tried to fly it...

it had been on charge for 6 hours the previous evening .. after finding that the wind was a bit strong ; i headedfor a slightly sheilded area nr to some trees . set the helicopter down and got immediate lift off.. it hovered like a dream..and all id done was push the throttle to half way.

having gained confidence . i turned the helicopter round a few times and got used to it..

the helicopter moves forward as u turn a little .but i found if i turned a full 180 then it just hovered again .

anyways . having flown and landed a few times. (1 heavy crash) the helicopter was unnefected byt this..
i decided to go for it..full throttle , the copter rose to about 60 feet and was caught by the wind . it flew about 50 mtrs from me and then dropped rapidly toward the ground , about 10 feet from nr death , i opened up the throttle and she started hovering again..i was amazed.

the battery on full charge for 6 hours lasted about 22 minutes all in all.

And i am very happy with it..also ive noticed it uses the same size cheap blades as a friends e-sky lama 4 helicopter . so spares are easy to get.

if u want a helicopter u ca

How do you control this thing? by Dan

How do you control this thing?

It only has two controls :- up / down and round and round

how do you make it go forward / backward, left / right , hover?
