Great bit of kit by cw
This is a wonderful piece of kit. If you have a DS or DS Lite then this is an essential piece of equipment. I bought one for my daughter as she just got a DS Lite and im amazed at the 3rd party software and roms that you can get for it.It also plays movies too,well worth the cost.When some games cost up to 30 GBP,this is an absolute bargain.I am going to purchase another for my youger daughter as they both have a DS and keep fighting over the R4 card.I may get the R4 III upgrade one though as it supports a micro sd card up to 16 Gb instead of the 2Gb R4 II.

Very easy to use - just download, drag and drop. Works with most of the Software you can download and put on it. 2GB holds about 35 titles with ease.
The latest revision will take larger memory cards.
Excellent value for money. Make sure the official one you get has the mini cd rom with the firmware on it. Lots of fakes available out there, but not from this site.
Should have a mini sd card to usb adaptor in the box.

What is the difference between this cartridge and the ND III upgrade item# 32765. Do you need the original cartridge before you use the upgrade product or is item# 32765 a standalone product??
How to backup games by stuffster
Hi
Can you tell me if this comes with instructions on how to back up my own DS games.
My daughter is 6 and keeps losing the games, so I am hoping to back them up onto one card so she has no reason to take it out of the DS!

Had one of these for ages, so good I got another one for the wife so we could wi-fi.
Just be warned of a rogue website made to look like the official site which claims to have a firmware above 1.18, this is fake and will only crash your R4.

And remember don't waste money on greater than 2GB micro SD the R4 won't recognise it, 2GB is the max for this.
