Comment by dvd_buyer

i live in england region 2 and can play region 1 dvds in the player so I'm guessing it is multi regional. All usb devices have to be fat32 formatted or it won't read them there seems to be some debate on other forums about the maximum size, mine won't see anything over 120 gig though it reads all flash drives up to 8 gig.

sumvision dvd plyr USB issues by pictureman

just bought one of these, brilliant.
USB issues:
Any usb stick that is formatted to NTFS should be ok.. fat32 etc cant handle files above 2GB

 AVI Playback by Simon

I have loaded some AVI files (DiVX\\Xvid) onto CD and USB memory stick, and both times it just tells me there are no supported files, or a message to that effect.

Any remedies to this or am I missing something fundemental.

As for DVDs though it will play anything I chuck at it.

 Review by Eebie

Was a bit sceptical on this dvd player with upsclaler by a manufacturer i had never heard of but took a chance and ordered one anyway. Glad i took the chance because this little machine is solidly built and does what it says on the tin! I am watching my old movies in a new light. well worth the money for an entry level upscaler. only one hiccup so far is sometimwes no sound but press the hdmi again and its back.
