ARIA TECHNOLOGY LTD is a growing computer company, selling computer components and peripherals to Education, businesses and the general public through three sales channels: Telesales, our trade counter and E-commerce. An opportunity has opened up in our accounts department for an accounts assistant.
Role Overview

• To undertake general accounting duties, duties involved in day to day running of a business, create new and revise current processes and procedures to ensure financial integrity within the company’s day-to-day activities. Assist in month end reconciliations, processes and preparing management pack.
Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Assist in producing management accounts.
• Generate and advise weekly payment run for authorisation.
• Weekly, Month end G/L and Bank reconciliations.
• Assist/support & act as cover for other roles within the department.
• Produce process maps to ensure knowledge retention.
• Ad hoc duties if required.
Person Specification

• Part-qualified or QBE
• At least 1 years experience
• Strong IT skills, especially proficient in the use of MS excel
• Must be proactive and results oriented,
• Must have excellent problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work both as a team and on own initiative
• Effective communicator both verbal and written
• Ability to work to deadlines
